Screencast Music Video Astounds Us
Posted 05/13/2008 at 1:21:42pm | by Roberto Baldwin

A fan-made music video based on the band, The Bird and The Bee's song "Again and Again," flies through a multitude of features and applications on OS X. Instead of trying to explain it, just see for yourself.

Be warned, the hypnotic video will have you singing "again and again" for hours.

All we can say is, wow.

What are the odds this will be the next OS X Leopard ad?

Well, if that isn't possibly the best ad for OSX going without being an actual ad. Makes our favourite OS just look that much more awesome (of course ignoring the CS3 suite).

I'd reckon upon Apple's PR department jumping on this like a shot and making their own version like you guys and quite a few spoofs of it regarding Vista too, see how many UAC dialogs you can get in 3 minutes of super-fast use anyone?

Super cool video! But the article makes it sound like this is the official video made by the band and it's not. This is something made up by fans (of OSX and/or The Bird and the Bee, you take your pick). The official video is available for purchase on the iTunes Store.

avatarThanks!

Thank you for the clarification. BTW, I still can't get the song out of my head.

Quicktime links on video articles?

Or at least a link to the youtube video?

I can't view half of the videos on this website on my iPod touch.

avatarThanks (and WOW)

Thanks for the link!

Opening all of those applications simultaniously makes me cringe (considering I'm still using a B+W G3).

This is an amazing piece of graphics and video production. My congratulations to the creator(s) you are truly talented, I'm in awe and having a real case of inferiority complex right now. Jobs need to come knocking with Jobs. Cut-On!
